Flamenco dance and music provide a world of endless possibilities for young and old alike! By studying this art, your child will develop coordination, musicality, sense of rhythm, self-confidence and presence—all while discovering the marvellous culture surrounding flamenco. In our classes, your child will be introduced to flamenco dance vocabulary, as well as rhythm and music. The teacher will impart notions such as a healthy, well-grounded posture, fluidity of movement, and spatial awareness. A certain rigour is maintained, always respecting each child’s pace. While classes are given in French, our teachers speak French, Spanish and English.
The ideal class for people who wish to gain a deep understanding of the fundamentals of flamenco dance, both those who’ve never done flamenco and those with a year or two of practice but who’d like to review or refine their basic technique before progressing to a more demanding level. Technical exercises cover the entire flamenco language: posture, arms, zapateado, rhythms, palmas, turns; and choreography taught throughout the session puts the notions acquired into practice. Style studied during the winter-spring session: tangos.
This class is for people who’ve been practicing flamenco for several years. It’s a general-level class, where intermediate and advanced dancers can work side by side. A full-body warm-up, awareness of breath in movement, grounding movement, rhythm, zapateado, fluidity and freedom in motion, endurance, turns, palmas—everything that spells DANCE. Technique is your vocabulary, your liberty. It’s essential for any flamenco dancer who wishes to deepen, anchor and amplify the basics, become independent in their learning and personalize their interpretation.
In this class, you’ll master improvisation for choreographic creation through dance, rhythm and musicality exercises and you’ll be asked to apply these exercises to choreographic sequences. Styles studied this year: solea por bulerias. This class is for people who’ve been practicing flamenco for several years and who are at an intermediate/advanced level.

This movement method loosens and strengthens joints, deep muscles, and fascia, improves balance, and awakens the senses. GYROKINESIS® suits all fitness levels and is practiced in a group setting. Each class lasts an hour and a half and has a consistent pace, with seated, lying down and standing exercises.
Pranayama (breathing), asanas (postures), are a perfect complement for dance and of well-being. This course is accessible to all and takes into account the peculiarities of modern life. Muscle strengthening, flexibility, endurance, postural alignment, relaxation / restoration, rigor and precision (and not hyper performance!). To integrate the benefits of yoga into your daily life.
